Thepla recipe - for adiiiiiiiiiiii bhaiya n ateeq bhaiya

Methi na Thepla is a favorite Gujarati roti

Ingredients

1 cup freshly chopped Methi/fenugreek leaves

wheat flour

bajari/millet flour

curd

sesame seeds

turmeric powder

corainder-cumin seeds powder

owa/thymol/carrom seeds/ajwain seeds

crushed green chili

crushed garlic

Salt to taste

Sugar to taste

Oil for shallow frying

Method

Mix dry flours with spices, salt and sugar. Add yogurt. Add little water at a time to make not too soft, not too hard dough.

Make balls

Roll into a circular chapati.

Heat pan or griddle. Fry the chapatis one at a time, so brown spots appear on both sides. Smear some oil while cooking.
