The world's busiest airport is Heathrow, London. Particularly with the opening of the new terminal 5.
there are multiple metrics used to determine the "busiest" airport. So it is actually quite meaningless to base it on one fact (most flights, most passengers). BTW London is most often third when based on passengers behind Atlanta (Hartsfield-Jackson) and Chicago (O'Hare).

The airbus is not the largest plane in the world. It is the largest passenger craft, but for sheer size gets beat by the Antonov an-225.
Most of those arnt realy amazing engineering feats though are they? Theyre just... big. You can get much better examples of complex engineering, only thing is theyre smaller.

as someone studying Air traffic control london is always regarded as the busiest when total traffic is compared not just passenger.
Besides the Airbus A380 is not the biggest plane in the world, its the biggest passenger plane.
i live in sydney and the harbour bridge only has one level with 8 lanes (6 open to public one train lane and one bus only)

Donghai Bridge is the 5th longest bridge in the world. It's not even the longest in China. The Lake Pontchartrain Causeway in Louisiana is the longest bridge in the world

Their criteria might differ from what it's your self deluded heads; but they are recognized as the authority on these records. This also isn't prefaced by a year, though I will admit it has to be recent with the Dubai buildings.

Actually, to correct both the article and Komakino, the worlds busiest airport all around is Atlanta's Hartsfield. Heathrow is busiest in the number of international passengers while Atlanta is busiest in overall passengers + most arrivals & departures + most destinations served.

The Hotel in Dubai is 7 star, its given this accredation as it has its own highway running up to the hotel, as this feature is unique to the hotel, thats why it claims to be the only 7 star in the world
